PADI Open Water Diver | Confined Water Dives Only

This selection covers only the confined-water segment of the PADI Open Water Diver course. Before getting started, you’ll need to complete the PADI Open Water Diver e-Learning module (sold separately).

In this confined-water section, you’ll participate in two instructor-led pool sessions at the Naugatuck YMCA—perfect for mastering essential dive skills in a safe, controlled environment.

Who Can Take This Course?

• Minimum age 10
  (10–14 year-olds earn a Junior Open Water Diver referral; full Open Water Diver at age 15)

• Completed paperwork
  Liability Release & Assumption of Risk, Standard Safe Diving Practices Statement of Understanding, and Diver Medical Form

Gear Requirements

• Personal gear: Students must bring their own dive mask and dive booties—these items are highly personal for fit and comfort.

• Provided gear: All other equipment is included (BCD, regulator, wetsuit, fins, tanks, weights).
