Referral Program - Certified Open Water Diver
Traveling to a dive destination? Start with us and finish your certification on vacation.
Start with an interactive e-learning from the comfort of your own home, followed by a live virtual classroom session with Mike to review and ask questions. Next, you’ll dive into two guided pool sessions to master your skills in a controlled environment at the Naugatuck YMCA.
Because this is our Referral Program, you will complete all of your academic and pool training with us and then travel to your dream destination to finish your open-water dives. We will provide all of the official referral paperwork for the PADI or SDI dive shop you choose to work with, so your only job is to book and pay for the open-water portion at your destination. You will surface with essential scuba skills, solid confidence, and the freedom to explore some of the most spectacular dive sites in the world.
Course Prerequisites
Minimum Age 10
(10–14 year-olds earn a Junior Open Water Diver referral; full Open Water Diver at age 15)Complete a Swim Test

Complete Paperwork

Provided gear: All other equipment is included (BCD, regulator, wetsuit, fins, tanks, weights).
