Step into a whole new world of underwater freedom with PADI’s Full Face Mask Diver specialty. Breathe naturally through your nose and mouth, communicate clearly with your dive buddies, and enjoy unmatched comfort—all while enhancing your safety and confidence below the surface .

We’ll start at the Naugatuck YMCA for at least one confined water dive. Before heading into the water, we’ll review mask features, maintenance, communications and problem‑solving. Once that’s done, we’ll spend one day in the open water to complete two dives and put your new skills to the test .

Course Prerequisites

  • PADI Open Water Diver certification

    (or equivalent from another agency)

  • Minimum age of 12

  • Complete Paperwork
    Continuing Education Administrative Form and Diver Medical Form

Gear Requirements

  • Personal gear: Students must bring their own backup dive mask (standard mask) and dive booties—these items are highly personal for fit and comfort.

  • Provided gear: All other equipment is included (Full face mask, BCD, regulator, wetsuit, fins, tanks, weights).

Course Timeline

  • 1 day at Naugatuck YMCA for at least one confined water dive.

  • 1 day in either Stonington or Fort Wetherill for two open water dives.
