Turn your passion for diving into leadership with the PADI Divemaster Course—your first step into the world of professional diving. You’ll learn to guide certified divers, assist instructors during training, and refine your dive skills to a professional standard. This course builds confidence, teaches advanced problem-solving, and gives you the knowledge to become a respected mentor and role model in the diving community.

Before getting in the water, you’ll complete the PADI Divemaster e-Learning module online to master dive theory, physics, physiology, and environmental awareness. Once that’s complete, join us for hands-on training sessions in both confined and open water, where you’ll lead dives, demonstrate skills, and experience what it truly means to manage divers safely and effectively.

Course Prerequisites

  • PADI Advanced Open Water Diver and PADI Rescue Diver certifications
    (or equivalent from another agency)

  • Minimum age of 18

  • Dive Experience:
    (40 logged dives to begin training and 60 logged dives to earn certification)

  • Current EFR certification
    (Primary and Secondary Care with CPR completed within the past 24 months)

  • Diver Medical Form signed by a physician within the last 12 months

Gear Requirements

  • Personal gear: Students must provide a full set of scuba equipment suitable for local conditions, including a dive computer, compass, and surface signaling devices. These items are essential for professional-level training.

  • Provided gear: Cylinders and weights are included. Additional rental equipment available upon request.

Other Requirements

  • Divemaster candidates are responsible for arranging their own accommodations and any applicable site fees.

Course Timeline

  • E-Learning at your own pace in the comfort of your home

  • Multiple confined and open water sessions scheduled according to student progress and season.

  • Candidates typically complete a hands-on internship over the course of at least eight weeks during the summer season.
